2017-2018: Hydrodynamics

Our very first season of First Lego League. This is where it all started. 2 coaches with only a little clue where to start and 6 brave girls willing to give it a try. We all learned a bunch and had a ton of fun.

Tradition! We stop at Cracker Barrel in Missoula for brunch and always get a team photo sitting in the rocking chairs. We made it safe to MT Tech. Qualifier Tournament tomorrow. We are getting the final tweaks in before our Saturday qualifier! 🤩 All the print jobs have gone to the print shop, we are almost packed, we’ve gotten as much driver practice as we’re gonna get, and we’ll get the last auto code tweaked tomorrow night. 💜🖤💜🖤💜 Happy 13th Anniversary Tangled! Our favorite artistic princess and her supportive sidekick are the inspiration for our Center Stage season. Happy Thanksgiving! We successfully hosted our first scrimmage! Great job everyone! Lillie’s testing an early concept for a future intake revision. Result, it will work! Zia got a rough draft done of the presentation script. Marin got our autonomous code to recognize the team props and their location. And it wouldn’t be close to a competition for us without a major motor failure, so instead of drive practice tonight, Kennedy had to swap a motor on one of our hang arms. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Woohoo!!! Team Props are trained!!! Time to modify the code and test! #FTCMachineLearning Everyone’s working super hard to make changes to Pascal after the Post Falls scrimmage. The Kalispell scrimmage is in 6 days. After that, 3 weeks til Qualifier 1. Some changes are baby steps on our way to the next iteration, some are functional improvements. We also spent time today training Pascal to recognize our prop.
